10 Longest Nonstop Flights in the World

It’s a LOOOONG way from home for me. Trips back home to Malaysia is pretty gruelling. The longest nonstop flight I’ve been on is from San Francisco to Singapore, duration: 16 hours 30 mins. Here is my itinerary from Austin, TX to Kuala Lumpur, MY for that trip. It’s crazy to think there are longer flights than that. I don’t think I can do it…

Data Processing:
- Create CSV with airports, flights, duration -> points
- MMQGIS plugin -> Hub lines/distance (see pic below for parameters)
- Make lines rounded with -> Vector -> Geoprocessing Tools -> Densify by Count -> Vectors to add = 100
