My first map GIF! The theme for today is 2 colors and the map uses the two colors from Prague’s flag, red and yellow. I found the data of building ages on Geoportal Praha. Honestly, their portal is so great and has so much open data. I also really like their interactive Atlas of Prague. If you’re interested in using Prague datasets, you should definitely check them out! Now that I’ve discovered a new source for open data, I’m hoping to make more maps of Prague.
The spatial data processing and map creation was mainly done in qGIS and the final animation was completed in Photoshop.
